    Ingredients

    • 1 PACK MISKO ORZO
    • 1200G BEEF
    • 1 CARROT
    • 1 ONION
    • 50ML MINOS OLIVE OIL
    • 2 CLOVES OF GARLIC
    • 500G TOMATO CONCASSE
    • 50G TOMATO PASTE
    • 100ML RED WINE
    • 10G SUGAR
    • 2 BAY LEAVES
    • 1 CINNAMON STICK
    • 100G DIVANIS FETA CHEESE
    • 3G NUTMEG
    • SALT, PEPPER
    • 3-4 ALLSPICE GRAINS
    • 1LT WATER

    FOR THE ORZO

    • 1 PACK MISKO ORZO
    • 40ML MINOS OLIVE OIL

    Directions

    Slice the carrot and grate the onion. Pour the MINOS olive oil in a hot saucepan and sauté the beef. Add the mixed onion, carrots and the garlic and stir until the onion becomes caramelized. Add the tomato paste, pour the wine and add sugar. Add the concasse and 1lt of water. Stir well. Add nutmeg, salt, pepper, 2 bay leaves, 1 cinnamon stick and allspice grains. Let boil in medium heat for 1 hour and 30 mins. Pour MINOS olive oil in a saucepan, add the MISKO orzo and stir until it looks shiny. Put the orzo in a baking pot and add the beef on top. Pour a glass of water and put in the oven for 20-25 mins (170 C / 338 F). Stir once within 20 mins. Take the pot off the oven and add DIVANIS feta cheese in chunks. Put it back on the oven for a few minutes. Finally, pour some MINOS olive oil.
