    SKOPELITIKI CHEESE PIE WITH HONEY

    Ingredients

    500 gr. flour, for every use
    1/2 cup olive oil ALTIS / SOLON / ELANTHI
    1 tablespoon white balsamic vinegar KALAMATA PAPADIMITRIOU
    1 tea spoon salt
    lukewarm water
    400 gr. grated feta cheese “ΔΙΒΑΝΗ”
    freshly ground pepper
    1 cup Greek honey “ΑΤΤΙΚΗ” for the serving
    green salad for accompanying food
    2 teaspoons cream balsamic with strawberry “KALAMATA PAPADIMITRIOU”
    extra virgin olive oil ALTIS

    Directions

    Sprinkle the grated feta cheese “ΔΙΒΑΝΗ” with enough pepper. Kneed all the ingredients until the dough becomes smooth and soft. Let it for a while to be rest until the gluten is developed for half an hour. Divide the dough into 4 parts. Roll each piece of dough on floured bench in very thin filo pastry sheets. Spatter with olive oil ALTIS the surface. Sprinkle the grated feta cheese all over. Fold the ends of the filo pastry, strain the dough and twist it into a snail shape. Fry in hot olive oil until it turns brown well on both sides. Spatter the cheese pie with honey “ATTIKH” while it is warm. You can store the cheese pie into the fridge and it can be preserved for several months.
