CHEESE BREAD EASY WITH SESAME CRUST AND HONEY
- 350 gr. self - raising flour
- 400 gr. feta cheese «ΔΙΒΑΝΗ» in coarse crumbs
- 200 gr. cheddar «ΔΙΒΑΝΗ»
- 400 gr. water
- 1/3 cup excellent virgin olive oil ALTIS / SOLON / ELNTHI
- 1/2 cup sesame
- 1 tea spoon anise
- 1 tablespoon pure butter «ΔΙΒΑΝΗ»
- fresh pepper
- 1/2 cup Greek honey «ΑΤΤΙΚΗ»
Preheat the oven to 180 °. Place an ovenproof dish or cast iron pot or in the oven until it is hot.
Cut a large piece of parchment paper, crumples it and wet it. Shake it until it is open.
In a bowl add flour, water and oil. Stir with a spoon until it becomes a thick porridge. Add the feta cheese and the cheddar «ΔΙΒΑΝΗ» and stir them. Rub the pepper at will.
Remove the ovenproof pot from the oven carefully. Drizzle with 1/4 cup olive oil. Sprinkle the bottom with half of the sesame seeds. Pour into the cheese pie. Drizzle with some olive oil on the surface. Sprinkle with the remaining sesame and anise.
Bake on the middle rack for about 35 minutes, until it turns brown and makes crust. As we serve it hot, drizzle with Greek honey «ΑΤΤΙΚΗ».
