HONEY CREAM WITH CINAMMON AND VANILLA
- 400 gr. sour cream κρέμα 35% fat
- 300 gr. milk
- 150 gr. Greek honey «ΑΤΤΙΚΗ»
- 2 eggs
- 3 eggs yolks
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 vanilla bean
In a saucepan, add the milk, the cream, the honey «ΑΤΤΙΚΗ», the cinnamon and the vanilla half chopped. Just before the mixture is boiled, remove it from the heat and set it aside for 10 ´, to get the flavors. Strain it with a fine strainer.
In a bowl, beat the egg yolks with a whisk and add some lukewarm cream. Add them all together into the pan, while stirring with the remaining mixture. Preheat the oven to 170 °.
Fill eight individual refractory bowls or a large ovenproof dish and place them in a pan. Add boiled water to cover 3/4 of the bowl or dish.
Bake it for 40 ´. Allow the cream to cool off, freeze it in the refrigerator and serve with honey «ΑΤΤΙΚΗ», nougat and chocolate.
